Olympic medallist Pete Reed to lend a hand at charity walk
DOUBLE Olympic gold medal winner Pete Reed will be making an appearance at a charity walk.
The Rainbow Walk, in aid of Hope for Tomorrow, will take place at the Badminton Estate on September 9.
Rower Pete Reed, from Nailsworth, has also won two gold medals and three silver medals in the World Championships, to go with the Olympic golds he earned in the men's coxless four at both Beijing and London.
He will be handing out prizes in the competitions as well as being on hand for photos.

Each year the walk raises around £6,000 for the charity and this year it hopes it will be the biggest yet.
Water will be provided around the course and refreshments will be available at the finish, however walkers are more than welcome to bring a picnic.
All proceeds from the day will go towards Hope for Tomorrow mobile cancer screening units.
