Otis Ferry's girlfriend and two other people arrested as part of a police probe into alleged 'witness nobbling' have had their bail extended till the end of this week.

Francesca Nimmo, 22, Adrian Simpson, 53, and a third person have all been told to report back to police on Friday to find out whether they will be charged.

That is the date on which Ferry, son of rock star Bryan, and a co-defendant, John Deutsch, 55, from Chipping Campden, are due before Gloucester Crown Court for a progress hearing of the case against them.

Both Ferry, 26, of Eaton Mascott, Shropshire, and Mr Deutsch are charged with robbing a hunt monitor of a camera and assulting her during a meeting of the Heythrop Hunt near Stow on the Wold, Glos, in November 2007.

Ferry, joint master of the South Shropshire Hunt, is also accused of perverting the course of justice by telling his former groom David Hodgkiss not to give evidence against him when he was due to stand trial on the robbery and assault charges at the crown court in Cirencester last September.

The trial was aborted when the 'witness nobbling' allegations were made and Otis Ferry subsequently spent four months in custody before being bailed to await trial.
