Oxjam is a festival of fundraising music events put on by music lovers across the nation – from large-scale festivals to local sponsored busks – making it the biggest line-up of any music festival in the UK.
In its first year in 2011 the Oxjam takeover Cheltenham raised more than £2,500 and is set to be even bigger this year. Since 2006, more than 45,000 musicians have played to an audience of over 900,000 people at almost 3,500 Oxjam events across the UK, raising in excess of £1.75 million to fight poverty around the world. That's enough to buy 15,000 emergency shelters, 70,000 goats or 1050 classrooms for those less fortunate than us. You can join the fight for poverty this weekend and support your local music scene.
Oxjam Takeover Cheltenham tickets are available for £5 in advance and £7 on the night from www.wegottickets.com/oxjam.
