“While I'm no particular fan of the Sun, I really can't see the problem.
As has been said, women want equality, then complain when seats aren't given up for them.
On that though, I don't think that's an equality thing, more a gentlemanly thing to do.
But also I get women expecting me to hold the door open, then no 'thanks'.
So I think all in all, we have lost our manners.
I bet the same people wanting it 'banned' are the same ones who want to be able to dress 'for themselves', and go topless on the beach.
So back to the question, it's about who is exploiting who, and who is the winner/loser.
For me, it's the women that are exploiting the men, and as a bloke, I know that's because they are the stronger sex, so my wife told me to say(!), but as to who wins, it's both. The Sun consistantly outsells other tabloids, and if the readership objected that much, they wouldn't buy it. I can't really see your average bloke stumping up his cash every day JUST for page 3. I think you'll find the sports pages equally fingered, if you get my meaning.”

“Quite Takeaway, men and women are not equal in many things, like it or not. Physically in general men far outweigh women. Mentally I would say we are far more equal, craftier definately !! “This is quite simple: If it offends you dont buy The Sun. The Guardian offends me so I dont purchase it. I dont buy the Sun either before you ask. The models (I use the word loosely) are not being exploited or forced to do it, so no reason to ban it.”
