Park visitors go out to watch the birdie
AROUND 45 people of all ages joined wildlife expert Mike McRea for a winter bird walk around Stratford Park.
The Stroud park's supervisor pointed out favourite nesting spots and identified feathered inhabitants.
"Mike whetted our appetite," said Ann Taylor from the museum.
"He showed us where to spot the parks' resident owl as well as nuthatches, goldcrests and treecreepers."
