Parking spaces
A CHANCE to acquire extra car parking land right in the middle of Stroud looks as if it will be seized by the district council.
Space adjoining the district's existing Church Street car park has been offered for sale to it by Gloucestershire County Council and could provide 30 more spots.
The first meeting of the district's new executive looks set to recommend the council to spend up to £150,000 on the project when it gathers on September 13.
