PROACTIVE parents in Kingsholm are all smiles after receiving awards.
The Kaleidoscope Children's Centre, in Sebert Street, hosted an achievement celebration for parents who have taken courses in the last year. The centre runs confidence improvement courses in a number of different subjects. On Tuesday they all received certificates for their efforts.

Lucinda Field, centre manager, said: "It was absolutely fantastic.
"They have all done so well. We had 74 people all together last year and we hope for more."
