Paul McCartney's childhood home front door to be sold at auction in Gloucestershire
BEATLEMANIA is due to come to Gloucestershire today as the door used by Paul McCartney every day for a decade will go under the hammer.
The simple yellow front door from McCartney's childhood home at 20 Forthlin Road in Allerton, Liverpool, will be sold at Dominic Winter Auctions in South Cerney.
There will be 658 lots on sale at the auction in Mallard House in Broadway Lane, but it will be lot 413 which is likely to draw the most interest.
McCartney lived at the house in Forthlin Road between 1955 and 1964.

The auction house has placed an estimated selling price of between £3,000 and £5,000 on the door.
