Piglets kept out of cold weather
LITTLE piglets and baby chicks born at Butts Farm in South Cerney will be snuggling up warm in the cold.
While it is usual for piglets to be born all year around, they will still need rely on a heat lamp to keep them cosy until spring.
And it is definitely unusual for chicks to be born in October, and they will have to stay in a sheltered hatching shed all winter.
Farm owner Judy Hancox said: "The pigs in particular are so sweet. They must be the most photographed piglets ever."
