COTSWOLD Farm Park was tickled pink by a late arrival of piglets.

The cute Kune Kune pigs are delighting late season visitors with their appearance at the tourist attraction near Bourton-on-the-Water.

Eight multi-coloured porkers, a rare breed from New Zealand, kept farm managers on their trotters. Tony Fisher said: "The sow, Mama Ku, came to us pregnant and we were expecting the litter much earlier.

"But she must have been served the day before she arrived and she's been keeping us waiting.

"Pregnancy lasts three months, three weeks and three days.

"But now the little ones are here the farm can go out with a bang this season. They're all doing fine – they're adorable. They're like cartoon pigs, fat with slightly upturned snouts. They've melted everyone's hearts and even adults are cooing over them."

The park, which has been open for weekends since end of season on September 7, will be open for a half-term week from 10.30am to 5pm, from Saturday to November 2.
