Mr Pollet has warned three other shops are moving out to make way for an expansion of the clothing chain TK Maxx.

He said: "The High Street is in danger of just becoming like any other high street because smaller shops are being killed off."

Centre manager John Forward: "We're sorry to hear that the former manager of the Cheltenham Pilot store holds these views as it is our policy to be as helpful as possible towards all of our tenants.

"While Pilot was in the Arcade we produced additional graphics for the shop at the landlord's expense and assisted them with local advertising campaigns.

"We did everything we could to keep Pilot in Regent Arcade, but at the end of the day it was the company's decision to close the Cheltenham store."

So Mr Pollet, it seems like your company closed it under your feet but you want to blame TK Maxx, oh well onwards and upwards i'm sure with your managerial experience you can go to many of the clothing stores in Cheltenham and apply for a role.”
