Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).
Bring this voucher to the restaurant complete with your name and email address on it.

“Thinking about it, how will customers get there by car, oh yes they will park illegally in Southgate Street like they do for Food Junction!”

“Thomas - Tesco will remove money from the local economy, a locally owned shop would keep more cash local!
Getagrip - Too right, it's taken the local businesses years to get the street drinkers out of Greyfriers and with the opening of Tescos that will be put back years, so they will also be cleaning the doorways that the street drinkers urinate in every morning?
The reason this unit has been vacant for so long is because JJB held onto the lease until they ceased trading!”

“Great more Clubcard points for shoppers.
And to those anti-Tesco, remember the Co-op are opening up at the other end of town in the former River Island/Animal store and are bound to be selling beer, spirits & wines. Sainsbury's Local are opening new stores in Cheltenham and Gloucester no doubt with a licence to sell booze, and not forgetting Morrisons who were feeling left out of not having convienenence stores so have just bought 50 Blockbuster stores about to be closed and a dozen ex-Jessops stores.
So lets face it - it's not JUST Tesco that will be taking over the high street, selling booze at all hours and making the shabby, dark, overpriced 'corner shops' on Barton & Tredworth streets history.”

“Who needs to buy alcohol at 6 in the morning?
Does anyone ever think 'I better get a bottle of wine for dinner' on the way to work?
This will only be used by the local homeless who start drinking when they wake up to numb the pain of living on the streets, which they do in Greyfriars, just around the corner of this new Tesco.
Personally I hope no-one uses this store, the last thing we need is a Tesco takeover of the last few small shops in the centre of town”

“If Tesco have that sort of license wouldn't people that be promoting more people to drink especially at that time in the morning.”

“It is perhaps indicative of the state of health of the population that a sports shop is being replaced by a convenience store selling cheap alcohol and unhealthy processed food.”

“Apart from Sunday trading times, can't you already buy alcohol 24 hours a day in many supermarkets ?
Just because shops sell alcohol doesn't mean you've got to buy it , does it ??!! Isn't this about irresponsible people as opposed to availability of, so called, ''cheap booze'' ?”
