Police and Gloucester City Council officials silence noisy neighbours in Quedgeley
NOISY neighbours have been silenced in a joint raid by police and housing officials.
The council said a "significant amount of 'kit' capable of making a noise" was seized from a home in Quedgeley yesterday in a raid by Gloucester City Council environmental protection officers and police.

The joint operation saw the execution of a warrant which led to the removal of television sets, a hi-fi, speakers and DVD players.
A noise abatement notice was served on the family who live at the house three weeks ago. Since then it has been breached three times. Further legal action is pending.

“Its only when you have to listen to this audio torture do you realise just how selfish, arrogant and cowardly some people are. "ooooo lets play our music really loud so we annoy next door" Pathetic!!!! Well done Council and Police.”

“Why not! As they would have had umpteen warnings and they took the ****.
Anyone who has lived by these or similar moronic morons would applaud the action.”

“Out of the "kit" I would say only the TV and speakers where capable of making a "noise", did they take all their DVDs, CDs and Vinyl just in-case?
Did they remove the electrical supply from the building?”
