Police appeal after house break in and car getaway
THIEVES broke into a Highnam house and made off with a car from the driveway.
Police are hunting the person behind the burglary at Tunacre between 5.30am and 6am on Saturday.
The thief broke into a house and stole a wallet containing bank cards and cash, a Toshiba laptop and keys to a car on the driveway.
The car itself, a Rover 75, was then driven away from the address before being recovered in Newent.

Police also want help with a theft which happened in Farthing Croft between 5am and 6.05am.
Wooden gates were rammed before a cement mixer, petrol lawnmower and Wacker plate were stolen.
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting incident 113 (Tunacre break-in) or 171 (Farthing Croft theft) of September 29.
