Police candidate needs to know about region
REGARDING the article "Policing of rural areas a priority for candidate" (Echo, October 16), I assume the police station Victoria Atkins is referring to as priority is in Tewkesbury.
The old station was in Barton Street. It has been moved to the council offices in the Gloucester Road.
If she thinks it has only moved 200 yards, she is living in Cuckoo Land and my name is Mickey Mouse. Try about half a mile.
It is obvious that she knows nothing about Tewkesbury so how can she stand for this position? She should take herself off the list of applicants.

“It doesn't really matter how little she knows of the area I've already met plenty of old letches, some with more than a basic level of intelligence who are gearing up to vote based on the fact that she is easy on the eye”

“No she was talking of Coleford.”
