Police search for family of John Ireland, who could be in Cheltenham

POLICE believe the family of a man found dead in Hull could be in Cheltenham.

Humberside officers are looking to locate the next of kin of John Ireland.

The 80-year-old from Parkfield Drive in Hull was found dead at his home on Saturday afternoon.

Police are not treating his death as suspicious, but have been unable to trace family or friends.

A spokesman for Gloucestershire Police confirmed he was thought to have relatives in Cheltenham.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 400 of February 9 or the coroner's office on 01482 613009.
