I take it in the last bit of your rant your talking about staffys? Anyone who knows any normal person with a staffy knows that they are not a violet breed by nature.
It is the owners that are the problem not the breed. I think i'm right in saying that Ceaser Milans (the dog whisperer) dog that died recently (Daddy) is a band breed in this country! This dog helped rehablitate hundreds of dogs without violence. I think this just proves that with the right owner any breed can be a great dog.”

In the USA they don¿t re home certain breeds of dogs due to they don¿t know their history, perhaps we over here should take the same view.
