Milkins and Lisowski out of snooker's UK Championships
Poorly Gloucester potter Robert Milkins has been knocked out in the first round of the williamhill.com UK Championships in York. He lost 6-3 to Shaun Murphy, who won the UK Championships in 2008.
Milkins, known as The Milkman, had been suffering with a heavy cold but still managed to take the first frame.
But Murphy took the next three frames, including breaks of 73 and 91.
Milkins, however, responded after the interval and reduced Murphy's lead to 4-3.

But Murphy, known as The Magician, won a crucial eighth frame and then scored a break of 85 to set up a meeting with Graeme Dott in the last 16.
Milkins said afterwards: "Shaun played well, I just couldn't get going out there. At times I felt like I was getting on top of him but Shaun's potting was excellent. I've been poorly for five days now and I let it affect me. I've suffered from dizziness and before the interval I was having to double-check I was hitting the right balls to be honest! I started playing better after the interval and if I could've got level it might have been a different story."
Churchdown's Jack Lisowski lost 6-2 against Stuart Bingham this evening.
