Potential Miss Gloucester winners scouted at The Quays
WANNABE beauty queens were snapped by scouts at the weekend.
They were out and about in the city looking for entries for Miss Gloucester 2012.
They picked several lovelies out of the crowd and praised girls in Gloucester as among the most beautiful in England.
The scouting event took place at Gloucester Quays and among those judging the girls was Miss England director, Angie Beasley.

She said: "We had a very successful weekend in Gloucester and were very impressed with the standard of girls in general.
"We spotted a number of very beautiful girls, who really stood-out from the crowd but I am sure there are still many more that haven't come forward yet."
She added: "Not only is the experience guaranteed to be enjoyable for all the girls involved but it will also help the participants increase their self-confidence and could open them up to a whole host of new and exciting opportunities."
Deadline
The deadline for entries to Miss Gloucester and Mr Gloucester 2012 is tomorrow.
The finals will be held at The Registry on Thursday, October 11.
The winners will become ambassadors for the city and will go through to the final of Miss England and Mr England.
Miss Gloucester finalists will be required to take part in two rounds – a little black dress and an evening wear round.
They will also be expected to organise fundraising events to raise money for Miss World charity initiative Beauty with a Purpose.
The winner will receive a £100 voucher to spend at Gloucester Quays and the chance to face one of their campaigns and a photo shoot with the Fresh Academy, including prints.
