Pressure on council to change cull policy
BADGER campaign group Stroud 100 has written to county council leader Mark Hawthorne ahead of next week's council meeting.
It has asked him to commit the council to vaccinating badgers to help support hard-pressed farmers and eradicate TB, which can be passed to cattle.
Plans to cull badgers in the county have been postponed until next year.

"The council meeting on November 21 is looking at changing council policy with regards to badger culling on tenanted land. The council has also identified that it owns other land and could easily work to proactively help local farmers."
