RUGBY fans who like their sausages will be in seventh heaven at a Prestbury pub this weekend.

The Plough Inn landlord Dan McGlone will be dishing up bangers made of ingredients to reflect the countries taking part in the Six Nations rugby matches. The boss of the Mill Street pub is a rugby fan and decided to get into the spirit of the annual tournament by ordering the special sausages from his local butchers.

The sausages wil be served with mashed potato, peas and gravy for £7.50 and will be on sale for the duration of the Six Nations tournament.

The flavours are:

England: Pork

Scotland: Black pudding

Italy: Spicy

Wales: Pork and Leek

France: Garlic and herb

Ireland: Beef and Guinness
