There are 60 jazz gigs over three days, including British Jazz Award-winners, renowned big bands, jump-jive outfits, legends like Pete Allen and up-and-coming teen sensations in the Best of Young Jazz section.
Expect high-energy boogie-woogie from Carl Sinclair, jump jive from the Swing Commanders, hilarity from Bob Kerr & his Whoopee Band, mellow jazz from Mello Baku, New Orleans jazz and blues from Tipitina and sublime sax from Alan Barnes.
Also on the international bill are big band sounds from Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra, 40s nostalgia from The Three Belles & Bevin Boys Swing Band and gypsy jazz from the much-lauded Remi Harris Quartet.
European superstars Lamarotte and Bourbon Street Stompers are back, along with Sticky Wicket Swing Orchestra, Martin Bennett's Green River Jazzband and the Bennett Brothers.
And trumpeter Enrico Tomasso, who has worked with Soft Cell, Clare Teal, Marc Almond and Bryan Ferry, plays a tribute to Louis Armstrong.
There's riverside camping, two Mardi Gras parades through the streets, a gospel church service, stalls and local food and drink as the town's pubs and clubs are taken over by the Upton International Jazz Festival.
Music starts at noon on the Friday and finishes at 11.30pm on the Sunday.
Tickets cost £25 for Friday, £35 for Saturday and £30 for Sunday, or £70 for the weekend. To book, visit call 01684 593254 or visit www.uptonjazz.co.uk
