Prince George to be christened today
Prince George is to be christened later today.
The private ceremony will be carried out by the Archbishop of Canterbury at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace and attended by the Queen, Prince Philip, other relatives and friends.
The low-key event sees the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge breaking away with tradition once again by not holding the christening where it is traditionally held in the Music Room of Buckingham Palace.
The venue today is personally significant for Prince William because the coffin of his mother, Princess Diana, rested there.
The couple are also set to announce who will be George's godparents.
