Problem spots identified
STREET drinking, cannabis smoking and anti-social behaviour top the list of priorities for a police crackdown in the city centre.
The Jubilee Gardens, King's Walk and Eastgate Street car park have been identified as problem areas by officers.
A spokesman said: "Jubilee Gardens is currently an area which has been identified by the Gloucester City Community Team, local businesses and the City Centre Community Partnership, as having anti-social behaviour issues which include street drinking, cannabis use and rough sleeping.
"The top floors of King's Walk and the Eastgate shopping centre car parks have been identified as being an area frequented by motorists and young people after dark as a meeting area.

“Any chance of the cracking down on begging? Twice in one day asked for money. I bet if I described them both they would be known by others as one has asked a few times and the other many times.
It is sickening and it is one of the worst things about Gloucester. We already give them money through our taxes no doubt.”

“what a good idea.
take the car keys off the police and make them walk in town, a bigger police presence is needed, look at them in the cars overweight”
