Protest at housing debate
COUNCIL bosses had a lengthy debate as they tried to agree on a solution for Cheltenham's housing crisis.
Cheltenham borough councillors started discussing where to put thousands of homes as part of the authority's joint core strategy partnership at 2.30pm yesterday – and were still going at 6pm.

“Or it could be that as the meeting started at 2.30pm many working people were unable to attend?”

“The photo of the protesters - excellent example of NIMBYs - all appear to be past their prime, and comfortably off - it is the younger generation that need the houses at a price they can afford.”
