​The daughter of Adrian Prout has set up her own facebook page to help clear her father’s name.

Yesterday, a jury found Prout guilty of murdering his 55-year-old wife Kate, by a majority verdict at Bristol Crown Court, despite no body being recovered.

But, dozens of people have now joined facebook groups in his support.

His daughter Laura, has set up the group ‘4 week old baby and Laura lost their dad over lies!’ saying her father is ‘an innocent man in prison’.

Another facebook page has also been set up by Jade Garlick, the daughter of Mr Prout’s fiancee, Debbie Garlick who he has a four week old baby girl Evie with.

Her page is merely called ‘Adrian Prout’ and has 68 members calling people to ‘free Adrian Prout’.

Prout, 47, of Redmarley, was told by Mr Justice Nigel Davis he would receive a life sentence on Monday.

Kate Prout, a retired primary school teacher, was last seen on November 5, 2007 and despite a massive search, police failed to find her.
