Public consultation launches on new outlet centre in Ashchurch, Tewkesbury
MORE than 70 people turned up on Thursday to share their views on a massive new outlet centre in Ashchurch.
Robert Hitchins Ltd is proposing to bring a retail outlet centre and garden centre to the village.
It has earmarked a 48-acre site next to the A46, near junction nine of the M5, and will be collecting opinions from residents.
Representatives from the company were on hand to answer questions about potential problems such as flooding, drainage and traffic.

The three-day consultation, which is taking place at Ashchurch Village Hall in Ashchurch Road, will continue on Friday from 12noon to 6pm and from 9am to 12noon on Saturday.
The retail outlet centre plans to offer clothing, sport and leisure goods, and bringing up to 1,000 jobs upon completion.
