Pupils at The King's School in Gloucester took part in a science challenge today, along with 15 other schools.

The annual event sees budding scientists building something different each year, depending on the brief set.

They are given two hours to come up with a design and to a build the prototype and test its performance.

Last year pupils designed and built a wind turbine from the materials provided.
