Pupils deliver harvest hampers to the elderly
ELDERLY residents in Coney Hill have been tucking into some tasty food thanks to generous pupils.
Coney Hill Community Primary School enjoyed its harvest festival on Friday at St Oswald's Church.

The whole school attended, along with parents, who had been collecting food items to go in hampers which were dished out to pensioners in the community.
Margaret Bainbridge, acting headteacher, said: "We asked the pupils to nominate elderly people who were deserving of a hamper, then we delivered them on Friday.
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).
