THE School Games are over and young people across the county are looking back with pride on their achievements over two days of intense competition.
More than one thousand young people were involved in 13 sports across five sporting venues.
Among some of the big winners were Dene Magna School in the Forest of Dean.

Balcarras School, in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham, was a gold medal winner in archery – seeing off rivals from Cirencester Kingshill School and Bournside School.
And Cheltenham College shared gold and silver medals for its A and B teams respectively.
The School Games, held at Cheltenham College, Hartpury College, the Prince of Wales stadium, leisure@cheltenham, Oxstalls Tennis Centre and South Cotswolds Outdoor Education Centre, were part of the Olympic legacy.
The aim was to spread the message of competition, winning and losing, to young people across the county.
The Games will be held again next year, with hopes of involving even more young people.
