Putting on The Ritz
Afternoon tea in London at The Ritz is an institution in itself and something everyone should try at least once in a lifetime.
Diamond Holidays is offering a two-day break to the capital which gives people the chance to partake in this worldly pleasure, enjoy a glass of bubbly at Europe's longest champagne bar and visit the quintessentially English store of Fortnum & Mason and then Harrods.
The break begins in Piccadilly at Fortnum & Mason, which has been trading for more than 300 years. It then moves on to The Ritz for the highlight of the visit.
A selection of three different types of loose-leaf tea is offered and the traditional menu includes freshly-cut sandwiches served on a three-tier stand, followed by freshly-cooked scones, strawberry preserve and clotted Devonshire cream and a choice of pastries.

After a night in a London hotel the second day begins with a shopping trip to Harrods in Knightsbridge.
Harrods is arguably the world's most famous luxury department store, made up of seven floors across 4.5 acres.
After some free time to explore the city, the trip moves on to St Pancras International Station to the Grand Champagne Bar, Europe's longest champagne bar at over 90m, where a glass of bubbly will be waiting.
