Quitting smoking was easy says Gloucester hair salon owner who is going to run Stroud half marathon
HAIR salon staff have been so good at quitting smoking some are now considering running a half marathon to show off their healthy lifestyles.
Kris Hossle , boss of BeHair, in Southgate Street, has found dropping his cigarette habit a breeze after workers decided to ditch smoking together.
He is enjoying the health benefits so much he has pledged to raise £10,000 for charity by running the Stroud Marathon. He has already had a £1,000 donation.
Duncan Selbie, the chief executive of Public Health England, and Andrew Gravells, county cabinet member for health and wellbeing went along to praise the salon's efforts.
