MINCHINHAMPTON turned the tables on Stow after suffering a heavy defeat to them earlier in the season.

An early Horrell penalty gave the Rams the lead, which was then extended with a converted try in a corner, and they led 10-0 at half-time.

Stow pinned Minchinhampton back with tactical kicking, and though full-back Richmond and Brain ran the ball back with interest, the visitors gained momentum and scored after a fine passing move.

However, with Andy Voss tackling forcefully, Moore everywhere on the pitch and Trim nearly scoring, Minchinhampton reasserted themselves.

A further attack launched by Eagles ended in a try for Wagner.

Indiscipline by Minchinhampton allowed Stow to reduce the deficit to 17-14, but a last-minute Horrell penalty sealed the win.
