Rare signed book turns up in Barton Street charity shop
A LIMITED edition signed copy of senator Ted Kennedy's book True Compass is up for grabs to the highest bidder – at a Gloucester charity shop.
A generous person donated the autobiography, valued between £500 and £1,000, to the Age UK shop in Barton Street. It is one of only 26 signed copies.
Stuart Croft, of the charity, said: "We have had a lot of interest already, but we may put it on eBay."
