Angry residents left in the dark for more than a year by faulty street lights may see the light in the New Year.

“I'm surprised they need streetlights in Kingsway.
I would have thought the light from the 50" plasma TV's in each living room and all the competing Christmas lights, the annoying outside floodlights that come on as someone walks past would be enough to help people avoid all the wheelie bins left out & cars half parked on the pavements there?”

“Is THAT why people can't sell their houses there? Last year's excuse was the un-finished roads, year before was the crime in the area, year before the lack of facilities back then. I thought the various legend that has blighted Kingsway was all sorted now.”

“There haven't been streetlights in my road for the 16 years I've lived there - but I@m presumably paying for them in my rates...”
