Staff at the Montpellier restaurant were joined by fundraisers for the charity from around Cheltenham as they urged people to help them raise vital cash for the organisation's coffers.

And bosses of the Suffolk Parade venue have made a special offer to those helping the cause during the appeal.

The restaurant has said that anyone who completes an hour of fundraising in Gloucestershire will be in with a chance of a prize.

They will be entered into a draw for a Champagne High Tea for four people at the Daffodil.

Each March, thousands of people take to the streets to collect vital funds for the Great Daffodil Appeal.

Money raised from the fundraiser goes towards helping Marie Curie nurse terminally ill people at home in their final hours.
