Right decision for the future
IT would appear the Green Party's Jonathan Ingleby thinks everyone thinks like he does regarding the Javelin Park incinerator and assumes the majorityare against the idea.
I hope the council soon make the right decision in the interests of future generations that will not have to live with mountains of rubbish.

“The preferred option of the County Council puts all the eggs into one basket. It's the wrong thing in the wrong place.
The Council's idea of 'Residual Waste' is not stuff that can't be recycled but stuff they can't be bothered to recycle.
Incineration has a place but it it must not be the only option and it should be done at smaller sites close to each of our main towns.
I like Ysedra's suggestion on a poll. Maybe TiG could run yet another one.
I have to agree with Y's observation that the whole debacle has been less than unbiased or truthful.”

“I wonder if opponents have ever considered running a poll rather than a petition? A little worried about which side of the argument the majority would fall on?
I wouldn't vote myself currently, as I don't think anyone has been entirely honest in this debate, preventing us from making an informed opinion.”
