Roadshows for elderly people in Gloucestershire
OLDER people will be able to seek advice on various issues this week during two road shows in Gloucestershire.
Gloucestershire County Council, together with the NHS, are holding road shows throughout the county to help with questions from the elderly.
The team of experts will be at Stroud Subscription Rooms in Kendrick Street, Stroud this Tuesday. They will then move to Cheltenham Fire Station in Keynsham Road the next day and finish the week at Mulberry Court, Cirencester on Friday. All events start at 10am.
Councillor Andrew Gravells, cabinet member for older people, said: “The point of making October Older People’s Month is to show people where this support is and how it can really help them make the right choices now so they don’t have to worry later in life.
