Robins legend Murray set to play for Bath
Bath City manager Adie Britton's big-name signing target has been revealed as Bristol City legend Scott Murray.
The 36-year-old midfielder is a free agent after leaving Yeovil Town at the end of last season and is training with the City squad, the club revealed tonight.
He is set to feature in tonight's friendly with Exeter City at Twerton Park (7.45pm) and will become the second vastly-experienced former Ashton Gate man, after Joe Burnell, to sign for the club this summer should he opt to drop into Blue Square Bet Premier football.
Murray, who made more than 300 appearances for City in two spells for the club, has commanded transfer fees totalling £835,000 in a distinguished career at League One and Championship level.
The popular Scot has been linked with moves to Aldershot Town and Cheltenham Town this summer.
Meanwhile, City confirmed yesterday that former TeamBath and Salisbury forward Jake Reid has signed on ahead of 2010-11 after impressing in the friendly campaign so far.
Sean Clohessy, who signed a one-year deal with City just over a fortnight ago, has now penned pre-contract terms with Southend United.
