TWO of life's basic issues are discussed in a poignant new play at Cheltenham's Parabola Arts Centre next week.

My Robot Heart tells the story of three generations of one family facing an impending wedding.

Investigating the meaning of love and fear, the play is written and performed by playwright Molly Naylor following the break-up of her own relationship.

The play was also partly inspired by Japanese robot experiments about love.
