On Gloucester Day, Saturday, September 7, a model fun fair exhibition is coming to the city centre.
The back room of the Fountain Inn in Westgate Street will be packed with models including chair'o'planes, a giant wheel, a rotor, a helter skelter, a fun house, funfair dioramas, showmen's transport and much more.
Town crier Alan Myatt, who is helping promote the event with model fun fair enthusiast Bill Lane, said it should be a real crowd pleaser for young and old alike.

"It's proved very popular before and adds something else to lots of attractions on Gloucester Day," he said.
Admission will be free of charge but donations will be welcome, with all proceeds going to the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust. The event runs from 11am to 5pm.
