Roof sheeting comes loose at Gloucester College
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Gloucester College yesterday when roof sheeting came loose on a building at the Llanthony Road campus.
A crew of five firefighters from Gloucester South station attended the scene just after 2.30pm to secure the sheeting.

A Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "After assessing the situation Watch Commander Brian requested the assistance of the aerial ladder platform from Gloucester North station.
"This was requested due to the height of the building and the precarious position of the loose sheeting material.

"Police were also on scene diverting traffic as Severn Road had to be closed off.
"Emergency services managed to secure the roof. They were on scene for approximately two and a half hours."
