Rose-Anne Galligan misses out on place in 800m final at European Indoor Athletics Championships
Cheltenham athlete Rose-Anne Galligan failed to qualify from today's 800m semi-finals at the European Indoor Athletics Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Galligan, who runs with Gloucester AC and represents Ireland, finished fifth in a personal best time of two minutes and 2.84 seconds.

Also running in Galligan's semi-final was Great Britain's Jennifer Meadows who finished first in a time of 2.01.02, the fastest time in both of today's semis, to book her place in tomorrow's final.
