Cheltenham Town video: New York nightmare for Robins

“Al - Seems like it was!! Listening to commentary, it seemed that the midfield trio of Carter, Pack + Penn gave the Millers far too much space in the 1st half from which they took full advantage of – running through and scoring 3 goals. After such an excellent start, with our goal-scoring machine that is Keith Lowe, once again finishing off a great Jones delivery. Fair play to the Robins thou – they gave themselves a fair chance of getting a result (which they were a bit unlucky not to) with another player who is starting to rack up his goal tally – Zebroski. Although he can still look all "arms and legs" at times, he's very committed to the Chelt cause and his constant effort is starting to be rewarded with goals – joint top scoer with Harrod now (thou Harrod hasn't played much recently + reached his total quicker).
Overall, a tough place for the Robins to get a result from – they narrowly missed doing so, having 2 goal-bound shots hacked off the line in the 2nd half. Need to put this result to bed now by getting all three points at Chesterfield on Tuesday.
Finally, just some word about the Gills match. Notice that the MA link was (perhaps predictably) underplayed by the club , so it was pleasing to read that the Chelt supporters who were at the match made their feeling clear to our former "manager" (I use the term very loosely) throughout the match. I am sure that MA will hear the very same feelings when the Gills visit WR – although this time expressed by a further 2-3,000 home supporters – can't wait personally – he will deserve every second of it after what he nearly did to us. Allthough with his track record, there is the possibility that MA may not be in charge of the Gills by the time of the home match. The near 3 year reign of MY as manager certainly puts the MA era in perspective – how so very far we have come since the dark days of 20008/2009 – long may continue to flourish + prosper under the current regime!!
BTW: Chelt are gonna be on Live TV!! 1st time since the Newcastle match nearly 7 years ago!! I thought that all the TV companies had forgotten that we are still a football league club!!
