Rovers' Braintree clash is off
THE knock-on effects of the recent rain has led to Forest Green Rovers' Blue Square Bet Premier clash at Braintree Town, scheduled for Tuesday, December 5, to be postponed.
The Essex outfit were scheduled to host Havant and Waterlooville at the Amlin Stadium on Saturday, only for the game to fall foul of the weather.
A second attempt to play the first round clash was also washed away last night, forcing The Iron to seek another available date for the game – with next Tuesday taking precedence.
No date has been announced for the r escheduled tie. Rovers host Nuneaton Town at the New Lawn in the Blue Square Bet Premier on Saturday (3pm).
Sunday and Monday evenings £12.00 per head for an all inclusive meal with Indian and Thai cuisine (normal price £14.50).
