THREE Forest Green players will don the Three Lions when England C take on Turkey B in the International Challenge Trophy semi-final next month.

Midfielder Kieron Forbes joins defenders Jamie Turley and Eddie Oshodi in manager Paul Fairclough's 16-man squad for the clash at Dartford Town's Princes Park ground on February 5.

The trio have been regulars in Fairclough's England C squad for the ICT campaign, playing in last year's 1-1 draw with Italy at Fleetwood and the 2-1 win in Belgium in September.

The Rovers players are set to be tested by a strong Turkish side that is effectively the next group of players below the full international squad.

While acknowledging the tough test awaiting them in Kent, boss Fairclough is still confident that his side has the quality to upset the odds.

Fairclough said: "I have seen videos of Turkey's recent matches and had them watched when they defeated Wales in November.

"They are a very skilful group of players but I have great faith in my players and if the squad remains fit and there are no late movements in the current transfer window, then I am confident of a positive outcome at Dartford next month."

The England C squad is drawn from players under the age of 23, who play outside the Football League.

One-time Rovers' transfer target Christian Jolley is added to the squad after his £25,000 switch from League Two side AFC Wimbledon to Newport County in January.

England C: Preston Edwards (Ebbsfleet United), Sam Mott (Welling United ), Ryan Jackson (Macclesfield Town), Aswad Thomas (Grimsby Town), Jamie Turley (Forest Green Rovers), Eddie Oshodi (Forest Green Rovers), Simon Ainge (Luton Town), Lindon Meikle (Mansfield Town), Josh Gillies (Gateshead), Kenny Davis (Braintree Town), Keiron Forbes (Forest Green Rovers), James Vincent (Kidderminster Harriers), Sam Wedgbury (Macclesfield Town), Scott Spencer (Hyde), Andre Gray (Luton Town), Christian Jolley (Newport County).
