Royal gig set to cap great year for ventriloquist Kieran Powell
A ROYAL performance is set to cap a diamond of a year for a talented young ventriloquist.
Kieran Powell, 17, will be performing at the Savoy Theatre, in London's West End, for Royalty in the First News Diamond Kids Royal Gala on November 4.

Kieran started off 2012 by winning The Door's Undiscovered Youth Talent Contest in Stroud.
He has spent this year impressing audiences across the country including the athletes at the 2012 Olympics.

Spurred on by his success he has created his first solo theatre show Look Who's Talking.
It debuts in the Cheltenham Playhouse on October 27 before going on a UK tour.
He will share the stage with Jason Donovan, who is hosting the Diamond Kids show as a part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. There will be Royalty present.
"It's been a fantastic year, being able to perform all over the place and write new material," said Kieran, from Nailsworth.
"It's obviously a great honour to be invited to perform for Diamond Kids in the West End.
"I am very excited to be performing my own show at The Cheltenham Playhouse.
"Having tried out some of the new material at other events, I think it'll be something people will really enjoy."
