Rugby for Heroes hits news heights
HOMEGROWN cause Rugby for Heroes can hit new fundraising heights with a diamond encrusted ball and a new calendar.
Founder Alan Lamb says its third year as a registered charity could be its best as rugby stars helped Rugby for Heroes launch its 2014 calendar.
Lamb started Rugby for Heroes in Gloucester in 2009, gaining registered charity status two years later to help former servicemen and women combat Post Operational Stress Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
"Hopefully in the next financial year we will be able to give even more money to the causes we support," he said.
