Community groups from Quedgeley hoping to apply for grants to support their work will have to follow new guidelines.

Quedgeley Parish Council is changing its policy when it comes to groups applying for money from them.

Organisations will no longer be able to apply to the council for funding more than once per year.

And their existing rule that a group cannot receive funding for the same project for more than three consecutive years still applies.

Councillors agreed the changes at a parish council meeting on Monday.

Parish clerk Jacquie Webster said that the new policy for grant applications would be added to their website to make it easier for groups to request funding from the council.
