Ryan will be missed by all
THE family of much-loved Ryan Lee have said he will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Ryan, 31, of Nailsworth, died following a road accident last month.
-

beloved son: Ryan Lee's family have paid tribute to him.
His father Keith, mum Jenny and sister Katie have now paid tribute to him.
A statement from the family said: "Ryan was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle and friend.
"He would do all he could to help his parents, grandparents and anyone who needed a shoulder to cry on.
"He adored his niece Amber and was looking forward to the arrival of his new niece or nephew in April.
"Ryan achieved so much in his 31 years. He excelled in school and university, and most of his high standard of work seemed to be effortless, much to the annoyance of his sister."
In 2008 Ryan decided to return to university, where he was awarded the Norman Richards Memorial Prize for the student with the most marks achieved in year one.
His family said: "We were very proud when we saw him receive this award at Bristol Cathedral in November.
"Ryan was looking forward to his second year and was already planning his work placement for 2010-11."
Ryan had many hobbies and was on the way to watch his beloved Forest Green Rovers in their FA Cup match against Notts County when he was seriously hurt on the A46 as he rode his Honda bike.
He was travelling from his place of work to a coach heading to the match.
He was taken to Bath hospital but died later.
Katie said: "Ryan was a keen motorcyclist and was extremely safety conscious.
"He would often say that he wanted car drivers to spend a few weeks riding a motorbike so they would see what motorcyclists had to put up with.
"He loved looking after his late gramp's garden and would always make sure that his nan had everything that she needed.
"Photography was also one of his many hobbies, especially taking photos of the natural world."
Ryan's family said they had been comforted by all the heartwarming tributes from friends and fellow Forest Green supporters.
The statement said: "Ryan obviously touched many peoples lives, as he would do anything for anyone.
"We, his family, have taken so much comfort in the cards, visitors and messages on his Facebook memorial page.
"We would just like to thank everyone for their support this past fortnight and hope to meet many of the people who Ryan cared about at his funeral.
"Ryan will be truly missed."
A second Forest Green Rovers fan died in the same week, with 50-year old Paul Davis, of Stroud, collapsing and dying of a heart attack.
Mr Davis had been watching Forest Green Rovers play the FA Cup match at Notts County.

“"..He would often say that he wanted car drivers to spend a few weeks riding a motorbike so they would see what motorcyclists had to put up with..."
Sad, prophetic words I'm afraid. The lack of awareness of some drivers beggars belief. I had two drivers pull idiotic moves on me on a 10 minute daily commute today alone, fortunately mine were at urban speeds.
Rest in Peace Ryan - I never knew you but you sounded like a top bloke.
Keep on ridin' fella.”

“I am so sorry for your loss! I lost a close friend in a motorbike accident a few years ago. You sound like a close and loving family, and I hope you can all help each other through this. Treasure your memories of Ryan, and celebrate the good things that he did. Allow yourselves time to grieve and don't bottle up your emotions. I didn't know him, but I do know how painful this is. You'll be in my thoughts.”

“Ryans funeral was held on Friday & my parents did him so proud. We are all going through hell right now & really appreciate all the support from our family & Ryans friends.
One moment of carelessness from another driver has devastated my family forever!
A message to all drivers: Please take extra care whilst driving, as one persons undue care & attention has taken away my gorgeous brother, my daughter & unborn child have lost a loving Uncle, my parents have lost their only son & hundreds of people have lost a caring reliable friend!
It is too late for my family, but please take care on the roads so other families don't have to go through the pain & torture we are going through! x”
